ASSEMBLY
1. Lamp U nit I nstallation
• Mounting y our l ight r equires a s crewdriver, p encil a nd ( in s ome c ircumstances) a p ower d rill.
• Place t he m ounting b racket o n t he s urface y ou w ish t o m ount t o.
• Mark with a pencil the position of the mounting bracket screw holes. This will enable you to pre-­‐drill
your s crew h oles.
• Once t he m ounting b racket i s i nstalled, e nsuring a ll s crews a re t ight, y ou a re r eady t o p osition y our C OB
Security L ight.
• Carefully r oute t he w ire f rom t he s olar p anel t o t he l amp a nd p lug i t i nto t he p ower s ocket.
• Adjust t he m otion s ensor t o y our d esired p osition. Y our C OB S ecurity L ight i s n ow i nstalled a nd r eady t o
charge.
Note: L amp u nit s hould b e m ounted 6 .5 ~ 9 .8ft f rom t he g round t o e nsure m otion d etection i s o ptimized.
2. Solar P anel W all o r R oof M ounted I nstallation
• Choose a n a rea t hat r eceives t he m aximum a mount o f s unlight p ossible.
• Use the holes located on the solar panel mounting bracket to mark the mounting surface for
installation.
• Set the bracket on the surface you have chosen and secure it in place with the screws and anchors
provided.
• Adjust t he a ngle o f t he S olar P anel t o e nsure i t r eceives o ptimum s unlight.
Note: T he S olar P anel i s e quipped w ith a 5 f t. w ire. T he m aximum d istance b etween t he l amp u nit a nd s olar p anel
can b e 5 f t.
