Operating Instructions
For your own safety, before using this equipment,
read these instructions and the accompanying
safety booklet carefully and completely.
Keep these instructions.
Attention: For good operation and to avoid damage
to the equipment.
• Do not allow pump to run dry.
• During use, keep the tank cap open.
• The temperature of the cleaning solution should never
exceed 35° C.
• THIS PUMP IS INTENDED FOR USE WITH CHEMICAL
PRODUCTS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR PIPE
DESCALING AND CLEANING. THE USE OF OTHER
PRODUCTS IS NOT RECOMMENDED AND MAY RESULT IN
INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
• FOLLOW MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR
HANDLING AND USE OF CHEMICAL PRODUCTS.
Fill the tank with sufficient descalling solution to ensure that the
pump rotor housing is submerged during use but not over the
maximum level mark "MAX".
THE CLEANING SOLUTION SHOULD NEVER EXCEED
THE TEMPERATURE OF 35° C.
Screw the outer ends of the hoses securely to the plant or equip-
ment to be descaled. Connect the power cable to a suitable 230
Volt single phase supply.
During use, take off the tank cap in order to allow the passage and
elimination of the gas produced during descaling. Check that the
foam level does not exceed the maximum filling level.
The DP-13 model is equipped with a flow reversing valve which has
to be moved from one side to the other at intervals. By attacking
the scale deposits from both sides it is possible to clean almost
totally obstructed pipes and the time of operation is reduced
considerably.
Scale removal can be considered complete when bubbles no
longer appear in the return pipe and the solution is still acid.
If the pump is not used for a period of time, wash out the pump by
circulating clean water through it. Our equipment is produced with
high quality acid-resistant materials and submitted to severe
operating tests. Following the above instructions will ensure trouble
free service and operation.
When requesting spare parts, always indicate the pump model, the
part number and description.
Important.
