IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed. These instructions should be saved for future reference: • Read and familiarise yourself with all operating instructions using this deep fat fryer. • Before plugging your deep fat fryer into the mains, visually check that it is intact and has not suffered any transit damage. - Page 3 • Allow the unit to cool before storage. • Never place the appliance near to flammable material or high pressure containers. • This appliance is intended for household use only and should not be used for industrial purposes. • Do not use any accessories or attachments with this appliance other than those supplied or recommended by supplier.
- Page 4 Before the first time you use your Deep Fat Fryer Please read these operating instructions thoroughly and keep them in a safe place for future reference. Remove all packing materials including the film on the lid and outer body. Before using fryer for the first time, wash the inner pan and food basket in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly afterwards.
- Page 5 • Insert the mains plug (with dry hands) into the mains socket. • The red power light will illuminate. • Rotate the thermostat to the required position according to what type of food you are cooking (refer to the table below), the green heat light will illuminate indicating that the cooking oil is now heating.

If the plug has to be removed, it should be cut off and carefully disposed of immediately.
