The PuriLens System is indicated for cleaning and disinfec- ® tion of soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses by means of subsonic agitation to remove lens deposits and microorganisms, and ultraviolet irradiation of the storage solution for disinfection.
- Page 4 Be careful not to allow the unit to remain on a wet surface. Prior to first use, you must run the unit without your lenses in it. This will thoroughly clean the PuriLens ® unit prior to the first time operation with lenses. The travel cap should always be removed from the cleaning chamber during the cleaning/disinfecting cycle.
