Bluetooth™ connection
The Bluetooth™ function for the mobile
telephone must be activated. For
information, see the operating instructions
for the mobile telephone. The mobile
telephone portal supports Bluetooth™
Handsfree Profile, V. 1.0, a n d is specified in
accordance with Bluetooth™ Special
Interest Group (SIG).
Bluetooth™ is a radio standard for wireless
connections between, e.g., a telephone
a n d other devices. Information can be
transmitted, such as that pertaining to
telephone directories, call lists, the names
of network operators a n d field strength.
Creating a connection
Y o u a r e in the main menu.
Select the telephone symbol from the
headline.

If the mobile telephone is slotted into
the adapter, the telephone menu will
a p p e a r on the display, (see photo).
If the mobile telephone is not slotted
into the adapter, the Bluetooth™ menu
appears on the display, (see following
section).
Select the "Bluetooth" menu item .
The Bluetooth™ menu a p p e a r s on the
display.
If Bluetooth™ has been deactivated,
proceed as follows:
Select the "Bluetooth" menu item.
If Bluetooth™ has been activated, the
remaining menu items will a p p e a r on
the display.
Select the "Bluetooth P I N " menu item.
The PIN menu a p p e a r s on the display.
Enter a random Bluetooth™ PIN a n d
confirm it with " O K " .
For safety reasons, a randomly
selected PIN code of at least four digits
should be used.
Select the "Start searching" menu
item.
During the search process for
Bluetooth™ devices, the word
"Searching..." is displayed.
