    Rev.2 §2 Installation of EQUIOS Patch §2.1 Installation of the Patch for EQUIOS Server Launching the Windows Explorer, and then open the folder that the Patch is placed. Double clicking the self-extract file. The following dialog box is displayed. Select the extract destination folder, and then click the “OK” button. The patch installer is extracted to the specified folder.

  • Page 8 Click the “Install” button to start installation. The following message will be displayed. Click the “OK” button when you continue installing. The following screen will be displayed while installing. !! CAUTION !! Never click the “Cancel” button in the progress screen.

Note: If you click the “No” button, you must restart the EQUIOS server machine later. If you do not restart, EQUIOS does not work properly.

    Launching the EQUIOS client. Enter the address of the control server on while you installed the EQUIOS Ver.2.40, and then click the “Connect” button. The following screen is displayed. Click the “Update” button. The following screen is displayed. Click the “Next” button.

    Rev.2 §6 Supporting A4 size scanners As a default, the parameters are set for an A3 scanner. Before using an A4 scanner, change the parameters using the following procedure. §6.1 Procedures Rename the ManualShadingGUI.ini file in the D:\TP-JL350\Client\Preferences folder as ManualShardingGUI_A3.ini.

    Set the “EQUIOS TP-JL350 Drive DVD” DVD disk to PC. Open ‘Ver2.40\Installer\PrinterController’ folder. Double-click “Installer.exe” in the folder. Following screen will be displayed. Select your language from the “Language” menu. Place check at “Options” to match printer configuration. Click the “Install” button.

    Rev.2 §8 Firmware version upgrade and parameter setting for each board. Download the firmware files and parameter setting for each board using the Printer Controller “Firmware”. The data for downloaded will be saved to D:\TP-JL350\Client\Firmware\V240TP005 §8.1 Firmware download and parameter setting. Turn off the printer, and remove the exterior cover of the head electrical equipment.

    Rev.2 §9 Version upgrade of the file for the printer. To copy the file for the Printer to the MCPU board or the HCPU board, exit Controller. Then open BoardSDcardAccessForMCPU.exe in D:\ToolsForPrinter\BoardSDcardAccessForMCPU or BoardSDcardAccessForHCPU.exe In D:\ToolsForPrinter\BoardSDcardAccessForHCPU.
