INSTALLATION
assure that the first start-up will be trouble free.
Lethal shock hazard inside.
Disconnect all power at source, before
opening or servicing.
1. Check incoming voltage. Be sure that the incom-
ing voltage is the same voltage that the vacuum
system was wired for.
2. Check starter and overload heater sizes.
3. Check all electrical connections for tightness.
4. "DRY RUN" the electrical controls by disconnect-
ing the three (3) main motor leads and the three
(3) fan motor leads from the starter. Energize
the control circuits by pushing the START button
and check all protective devices to be sure that
they will de-energize the starter coil when acti-
vated.
5. Reconnect all motor leads and jog the motor for
30
a direction of rotation check, as explained in
Section 4.6.
4.8 RUPTURE DISK
To preclude shipping damage, rupture disk is
packed in the electrical enclosure. Remove and
install between the two 2" flanges provided on the
side of the sump tank. When performing mainte-
nance on disk, consult
Torque Guide
for torque specifications.
