UNPACKING
Unpack carefully. There are glass parts. BE SURE TO REMOVE ALL FOAM PACKING FILLER BEFORE
APPLYING POWER TO THE UNIT. Check to ensure that the following items are included.
Steamer top, assembled complete with:

Hood Complete
o
Reservoir Tank
o
Chrome Cap & Stem
o
Collection Bottle Complete (80-ES-05)
USE ONLY DISTILLED WATER WITH THIS MACHINE. DISTILLED WATER SHOULD BE
USED TO HELP PROLONG THE LIFE OF THE MACHINE. DO NOT RUN CHEMICALS
THROUGH THE APPLIANCE SUCH AS CLEANING AGENTS OR AROMA ADDITIVES.
THESE CLOG THE WATER WAYS BY LEAVING DEPOSITS.
RESERVOIR TANK IS FRAGILE.
HAIRLINE CRACKS IN THE RESERVOIR TANK.
CAUTION: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE OR INSERT THE RESERVOIR TANK WHEN
UNIT IS HOT, DURING USE, OR IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE.
OPERATION

Remove reservoir tank. Unscrew the chrome cap and stem.
Check for the gasket inside the cap. The gasket's function is to help seal the reservoir tank and to prevent

water from leaking.
C. Pour distilled water into the reservoir tank. Fill the reservoir tank Replace the chrome cap and stem.
D. Select the treatment intensity by using turning the temperature knob.

Turn the timer switch to the desired treatment time. When selecting the treatment time, please allow time
for the steamer to warm up (approximately 5 min).
DRAINING THE UNIT
Unplug the unit before performing maintenance.
The hair steamer should be drained at the end of each day's use.

Unplug the unit before performing maintenance.
C. Allow the unit to cool down before attempting to drain the unit.
D. Prepare a pitcher or other water receptacle.
E.
Locate the drain opening. Water will drain from this opening.
F.
Unscrew the black plastic cap by turning counter clockwise.
G. Replace the black cap.
MAINTENANCE
All appliances should be cleaned after each use.
A safety check should be performed before the start of each day's use. If unit is unsafe to use or needs

repair, please call the manufacturer for instructions on how to send your machine in for service.

Only distilled water should be used in the hair steamer. The use of tap water will eventually cause
malfunction of the machine, due to calcium and mineral deposits.
C. Do not use harsh chemical to clean the appliance. Use a soft brush or cloth when cleaning.
