High Output two-way Broadband Line Extender
Model
LBLE100A
Lindsay's LBLE100A is a TOUGH outdoor hardened distribution amplifier offering two outputs, multiple diplex filter
options and the latest GaAs hybrid technology to provide superior performance up to 1 GHz.
The LBLE100A fills out the selection of 1 GHz Distribution Amplifiers and Line Extenders giving you extra reach and
higher output.
Designed with flat operational gain of 34 dB in the forward band and 20 dB in the reverse band. The LBLE100A has
sockets for JXP style plug-in controls. Input and midstage attenuators & equalizers, for forward bandwidth equalization &
balancing. And input attenuator plus output attenuator & equalizer for reverse path balancing. Universal JXP style pads
applicable for both attenuator and equalizer functions.
The amplifiers are powered via HFC power (40-90 VAC) or by seperate AC input. (220 VAC) (optional).

Powering The LBLE100A can be powered with HFC power supply AC input between 40-90 VAC. Or by 220 VAC mains (optional). For HFC powering 40-90 VAC, the amplifier is powered either through the 60Vac port or any RF port. To direct power towards output/input ports, please refer to the section “AC Power Director”.
  • Page 3 Before applying power to the amplifier make sure that the forward input level to the amplifier is not too high or damage to the amplifier might occur. To be on the safe side, you should select the input attenuator to be a max. value (eg: 20 dB) before powering the LBLE100A. Plug a 0dB JXP pad into the inter-stage equalizer socket.
