Always wear safety glasses and gloves when assembling your modules. Using proper tools will make the project much easier to do and will help you obtain a properly built project.

Module Assembly Step Remove the studs from the front wall and set them aside in a safe place. Step Slide the left Cross Channel (CC) wall so that it aligns perpendicular to the edge of the left side of the back wall.

Step Attach the CC wall to the back Perimeter wall by drilling at least three (3) screws through the pre-drilled web holes found on the inner side of the CC wall. Note: The web holes located on the outer studs of the CC walls align with the pre-drilled holes in the perimeter wall. Use the center web hole in each row to drill the perimeter wall to the CC wall.

Step Place the front Perimeter wall in place and drill screws through the web holes (as seen in step 3) to attach the front wall to both CC walls. You may lay the front wall studs to the side for now or place them into the front wall (see inset) for safe keeping until you know the dimensions and placement of your cutouts.

Module Assembly Step Slide one Cross Channel (CC) wall so that it aligns perpendicular to the inside edge of the left Perimeter wall to form the left and back sides of the module. Step Attach the back Cross Channel wall to the left Perimeter wall by drilling at least three (3) screws inside the stud of the CC wall.

Slide-In & Drop Cutout (Grill) Step Clamp the Long Catch Track to the back Perimeter Wall of your module with Vice Clamps about where you would like to place your appliance. (Make sure to leave enough room for the Side Burner cutout (page 29)). Make sure that the top of the Long Catch Track is flush with the top of the Perimeter Track.

Step Slide the open end of the L-Shaped Countertop Studs built in steps 3 through 6 into the Long Catch Track and then clamp the Short Catch Tracks to the top track of the front Perimeter Wall of your module. Make sure the tops of the Short Catch Tracks are flush with the top of the Perimeter Wall Track.

Step Measure the distance of the Appliance Track from the front Perimeter Wall Track of your module to make sure it matches the length of the appliance that will be placed within this area. If the size is incorrect, slide the Appliance Track forward or back along the Countertop Studs until the size between the Appliance Track and the Perimeter Wall Track matches the length of the appliance.

Step Remove the clamps and drill one screw into the center of both Short Catch Tracks. Make sure to keep the top of the Short Catch Tracks flush with the top Track of the Module. Step Use the carpenter square to draw lines on the front Perimeter Wall Track of your module so that when cut, the edges of the Perimeter Wall Track will be flush with the edges of your Countertop Studs.

Step Cut the front Perimeter Wall Track of your module where marked. Make sure the cuts are flush with the Counter- top Studs. Note: It is much easier to cut these tracks with a cutoff wheel, however, if you are not comfortable with using the cutoff wheel, aviation snips will work as well.

Step Use two of the Perimeter Wall Studs from your module kit and place them flush against the cuts that were made in steps 13 and 14. Make sure that the smooth side of the studs face inward, toward the appliance. Note: Before moving onto the next step, it is a good idea to make certain that the Perimeter Wall Studs are at a ninety degree angle to the bottom Perimeter Wall Track.

Step Place the second Appliance Track between the Perimeter Wall Studs by inserting it at an angle and then sliding it into position. Make sure that the smooth side of the Appliance Track is facing up, toward the appliance. Smooth side toward the appliance Slide Up...

Step Drill screws into both sides of the Appliance Track (for a total of four (4) screws). Step You should now have a complete Slide-In and Drop Cutout.

Double Doors Cutout Step Place the first Appliance Track in-between the Front wall studs near the bottom of the Appliance Track used for the Slide-In and Drop Cutout by inserting it at an angle and then sliding it into position to align parrallel with the above Appliance Track.

Step Measure the distance between the Appliance Tracks to make sure it matches the height of the door/drawers that will be placed within this area. If the size is incorrect, slide one or both of the Appliance Tracks up or down along the Perimeter Wall Studs until the size between the Appliance Tracks matches the height of the door/drawer.

Drop In Cutout (Side Burner) Step Clamp the Short Catch Tracks to the back and front Perimeter Wall Tracks of your module with Vice Clamps about where you would like to place your appliance. Make sure that the top of the Short Catch Tracks is flush with the top of the Perimeter Wall Tracks.

Step Place the precut Appliance Tracks in-between the Countertop Studs, one near the back of the module, one near the front. Make sure that the smooth side of the Appliance Tracks face inward, toward the appliance. Note: The Appliance Tracks have been precut to fit the width of the appliance. To best position the appliance, place one side of the Appliance Track flush against the first Countertop Stud, then readjust the second Countertop Stud to rest flush against the other end of the Appliance Track.

Step Make sure you have all of your assembled pieces. Left 68” Module Right 68” Module 90 Corner Module Step Slide the 90-Corner Module so that it aligns perpendicular to the edge of the left side of the left 68-Inch Module. The 90 Corner Module will be completely flush with both the front and back walls of the 68-Inch Module.

Cutting Long Catch Tracks Step Measure the length of the Long Catch Track to the length of the Perimeter Wall Track of your module and mark the Stud. When measuring the length of the Perimeter Wall Track of your module, make sure to measure between the inner sides of the Cross Channel Tracks.
