Insert one caster (A) into the socket of each of the five points on the base. When inserting the caster into the 5-star base apply a little pressure to the caster to pop it into position. Turn the 5-star base right side up so the casters are on the floor.
- Page 5 Hardware used in Step 2 NOTE: Before attaching, make sure the label marked “FRONT” on the seat cushion (H) and the engraving on the seat plate (E) are facing the same direction. Place the seat (H) on a firm surface with the padded side down exposing the underside of the seat. Align the holes in the seat plate (E) with the threaded inserts in the bottom of the seat (H).
- Page 6 Hardware used in Step 3 Lay the seat cushion (H) upside down on a firm surface. NOTE: for proper assembly of the chair it is important to NOT fully tighten any of the machine screws installed in this step until all machine screws are installed. Align the holes in the support plate attached to the back cushion (I) over the matching threaded inserts in the seat cushion (H).

Lift the handle and raise your body off the chair to allow the chair to lift to your desired height.
