    The Merlin FAB-1 is a fire alarm bypass panel. The Merlin FAB-1 is designed to allow gas to remain on- for a pre-determined time during a fire alarm test. The FAB-1 should be activated before a fire alarm test to allow the gas supply to remain on.

    Merlin FAB-1 User Guide Circuit Board Terminals POWER A 100-240VAC electrical supply should be supplied to the panel. This should be fused at 3A and connected to the terminals marked [LNE POWER]. TO FIRE PANEL The terminal for a fire alarm panel is detailed on the circuit board as [TO FIRE PANEL], fire alarms should be volt free using a two core cable.

    Merlin FAB-1 User Guide Installation & Operation System ON and OFF  Turn the key switch to [ON] position.  To turn the system off, turn the key switch to [OFF] position. Timeout Facility: The bypass time can be adjusted using the switches [S1] inside the panel on the circuit board.

    Merlin FAB-1 User Guide Manufacturer’s Warranty 3 Year Limited Warranty Warranty coverage: The manufacturer warrants to the original consumer purchaser, that this product will be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from date of purchase. The manufacturer’s liability hereunder is limited to replacement of the product with repaired product at the discretion of the manufacture.
