1 General Description The Chicago Building Code Class I / Class II Master Control (CBC-CLASS 1/2) was designed to comply with non high-rise Class I and Class II type building requirements of the city of Chicago, Illinois. It supplies the fire alarm control panel with two AC sources, ensuring backup if one source fails.

General Description Module Descriptions Chicago Building Code / City Tie Disconnect Module The Chicago Building Code / City Tie Disconnect Module provides the ability to disconnect the City Tie Box from a location other than the fire alarm control panel. It consists of a disconnect switch operated by a two-pole caption key-operated switch, and a white incandescent lamp that indicates when the city tie has been disconnected.
