  • Page 3 Hydrophone HA – Use and Installation Hydrophone HA is a device used for receiving leak noise at non- metallic water-filled piping systems up to pressure stage PN 16. The device may be mounted only on hydrants or on conus-shaped Whitworth 1” female threads (e.g. water meter connectors).
  • Page 4 Disassembly Note: Unscrew the Hydrophone HA from the adapter / 1” thread after each use. This is the only way to prevent the parts from seizing due to corrosion. Close the hydrant / shut-off device.
