    The ASAHI Corsair Armet is intended to provide support to facilitate the placement of guide wires in the peripheral vasculature, and can be used to exchange one guide wire for another. The ASAHI Corsair Armet is also intended to assist in the delivery of contrast media into the peripheral vasculature.
  • Page 4 5) Do not modify this microcatheter for any reason. Use of a modified product may cause damage to blood vessels and/or accidents. 6) This microcatheter must be used under the condition that surgical operation can be performed. (If an emergency surgical operation is unavailable, life-threatening events may occur.) 7) This microcatheter must be used under fluoroscopy only by a physician who is fully trained in PTA treatment.
  • Page 5 19) Injection pressure must not exceed the maximum injection pressure when injecting contrast media. Exceeding the injection pressure beyond the maximum injection pressure may cause damage to the microcatheter. 20) When infusing contrast media, the device must be operated with confirming that the contrast media is being infused from the tip of the device.
  • Page 6 12) The surface of this microcatheter is coated with hydrophilic polymer. Flush the surface and the lumen of the microcatheter continuously with heparinized and sterilized saline during its use to maintain lubricity. Flush the lumen of the microcatheter sufficiently with heparinized and sterilized saline especially after injecting contrast media.
