General Safety Instructions (Cont.) • Arranging the blanket: * Arrange the blanket so that the heating wires are not beneath pillows and/ or bolsters. * Ensure the heating wires are trapped or tucked into any part of the bed. * Make sure that the heating area (wire element) on any side of the bed does not hang over the edge of the mattress.

Getting Started Before first use • Unpack: This product has been packaged to protect it against transportation damage. Unpack the product and remove any promotional labels. Keep the original packaging materials in a safe place. It will help prevent any damage if the product needs to be transported in the future, and you can use it to store the product when it is not in use.

Getting Started (Cont.) Fitting the electric blanket Your fitted electric blanket has a fully fitted, elastic skirt sewn into the blanket so it can be fitted easily on top of the mattress. Please note that the slits in the skirt for the controllers are located on the sides of the Head of bed Fig.
Instructions Attaching and detaching the controllers The two controllers for the electric blanket are detachable so that you can take them off before washing the blanket. If you want to leave your blanket on the bed all year round as a comfortable underblanket, we recommend you remove and store the controllers during the summer months.

Other Useful Information Cleaning the electric blanket This electric blanket has waterproof heating elements, making it safe for immersion in water and hand or machine washing. Just make sure you always unplug the controllers from the power supply and detach them before exposing the blanket to water.
