    Applegate Livestock Equipment Company - Ideal Post Pounder 3.0 TRANSPORT Follow this procedure when preparing the unit for transport: 1. Position the pounder mast head into the fully lowered position (Figure 2.1). 2. Fully extend the hitch cylinder and place the lockout pin into position.

Follow all set-up instructions and do not allow any unauthorized people into the working area.

This partial stroke is used to set the post. For weathered or cracked wooden posts, or steel T posts, use a shorter distance from the hammer to the post surface.

Lean the mast back into the transport position. Fully retract hitch cylinder and insert the lock out safety pin.

Lock out all power. 2. Store the equipment on a level surface, free of debris, and in an area away from human activity. Store in a dry place or use a tightly secured tarp to protect the equipment from the weather.
