    6. Fixture Cleaning STATEMENT FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, PLEASE READ THIS USER MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING AND POWERING YOUR STORM 2000 RGB LED STROBE. This device has left our premises in absolutely perfect condition. In order to maintain this condition and to en-sure a safe operation, it is absolutely necessary for the user to follow the safety instructions and warning notes written in this manual.
  • Page 3 The power plug has to be accessible after installing the fixture. Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result in fire or electric shock. DO NOT allow anything to rest on the power cord. DO NOT locate this fixture where the cord may be damaged by persons walking on it.
  • Page 4 The fixture becomes very hot during operation. Allow the fixture to cool approximately 20 minutes prior to manipulate with it. Operate the fixture only after having familiarized with its functions. DO NOT permit operation by persons not qualified for operating the fixture. Most damages are the result of unprofessional operation.

    3. How to Control the Unit Before replacing a fuse, disconnect power cord, always replace with the same type and rating of fuse. FUSE REPLACEMENT CAUTION! The Storm1000 utilizes a high-output switch-mode power supply with an internal fuse. Under normal operating conditions, the fuse should not require replacement.
  • Page 8 Cables must have a male XLR connector on one end and a female XLR Connector on the other end. A word on Termination: DMX is a resilient communication protocol, however errors still occasionally occur. Termination reduces signal errors, and therefore best practices include use of terminator in all circumstances.
  • Page 9 SETTING UP DMX CONTROL STEP 1: Connect the male connector of the DMX cable to the female connector (output) on the controller. STEP 2: Connect the female connector of the DMX cable to the first fixture’s male connector (input). Note: It doesn’t matter which fixture address is the first one connected. We recommend connecting the fixtures in terms of their proximity to the controller, rather than connecting the lowest fixture number first,and so on.

    5. Troubleshooting Following are a few common problems that may occur during operation. Here are some suggestions for easy troubleshooting: A. The unit does not work, no light and fan. 1. Check the connection of power and main fuse. 2. Measure the main voltage on the main connector. 3.
