INSTALLATION ON TIMBER STRUCTURES

A statically stable sub-base is an indispensable premise.
In doubt, a calculation expert must be called in.
Screws to be used for fastening the device to the roof: 2
HBS Ø 8 mm wood screws, length: 100 mm – 500 mm with
or without washer
NOTICE: According to the roof structure, various lengths of fastening
screws are required. In accordance with the minimum penetration
depth of the bearing structure, use HBS wood screws!

The minimum penetration depth of the fastening screws
into the rafter shall be 80 mm.
Position Rothoblaas LOOP on the batten or boarding above a load
bearing rafter so that the cable exits onto the roof between the roof
tiles.
Fasten using 2 HBS Ø 8 mm screws long enough to meet minimum
penetration requirements.
Notice: screws must be fastened centrally to the rafter.
INSTALLATION ON CONCRETE STRUCTURE
Installation on concrete is allowed only together with the additional
KRAKEN fastening set.
The installation must be carried out only by following the
instructions on the technical datasheet of the KRAKEN fastening set.
