6.1 LEVELING DECK
To Facilitate a safe and efficient mowing operation, the
mower should be operated parrallel to the ground at all
times. Never operate if front or rear of mower is tilted
upward. Objects may be discharged at high speeds
causing possible injury or even death.
Adjust Top Link to level mower roller adjustment.
Side Skid Shoes should always be parallel to ground
throughout the full adjustment range. Adjust cutting
height of machine by raising or lowering rear roller
as specified in Operation Section.
Do not let the Blades turn when the Mower Deck is raised for any
WARNING!
reason, including clearance or for turning. Raising the Mower
deck exposes the Cutting Blades which creates a potentially
serious hazard and could cause serious injury or even death from
objects thrown from the Blades.
7. PUMP & SPEAD INCREASER ATTACHMENT
To attach the Speed Increaser and Pump to the
tractor, use the following procedure:
1. Attach the Speed Increaser Mount Plate to the
tractor loosely. Refer to the installation drawing,
supplied in the packing box, for specific instructions.
2. Grease the tractor PTO shaft and slide the Speed
Increaser on. Install the 1/2" bolts and bushings
between the Speed Increaser and Mount Plate. Do
not tighten bolts at this time.
3. With the tractor in idle and the PTO engaged,
alternate tightening the Mount Plate bolts following an
"X" pattern until they have all been tightened. Refer to
Torque Chart for proper torque.
4. Grease the inside and outside of the Splined
Adapter Bushing and insert it into the Speed
Increaser. Slide the Pump in place and tighten the
mounting bolts. Use thread sealant on all fittings and
hose threads. DO NOT USE TEFLON TAPE.
DANGER!
Always shut the Tractor completely down, place the transmission in park,
and set the parking brake before you or anyone else attempts to connect
or disconnect the Implement and Tractor hitches.
