1. Wichtige Hinweise zu Sicherheit und Bedienung Diese Anleitung enthält wichtige Hinweise für den Solar-Laderegler für Power 26-104 zur Beachtung während Installation und Wartung. Bitte befolgen Sie diese Hinweise genau. NUR MIT POWER 26-104 BATTERIE VERWENDEN. 3. Lieferumfang Der Gesamtlieferumfang des Solar-Ladereglers umfasst die folgenden Teile: • Laderegler • Ersatzsicherung • Bedienungsanleitung 4. Installation & Systemanschlüsse 4.1 Einbau Montieren Sie den Regler fest in der Nähe Ihrer Batterie, indem Sie die auf den Flanschen des Gehäuses vorgesehen Öffnungen oder sonstige für die Anwendung geeignete Befe- stigungsmittel verwenden. - Page 7 Vorsicht! Kurzschlussgefahr: An einem Solarmodul darf immer nur EIN Laderegler angeschlossen werden. Bitte beachten Sie die folgenden Hinweise zu den Solarmodul-Steckern: • Nicht eingesteckte Stecker vor Feuchtigkeit und Schmutz schützen. • Zum Einstecken in das Solarmodul: Die Kabelkupplung zusammenfügen, bis sie einra- stet (1). Prüfen Sie die Kabelkupplung auf festes Einrasten, indem Sie daran ziehen. • Um die Kontakte zu trennen, drücken Sie die Klammern von Hand zusammen (2) und trennen Sie die Kabelkupplung (3).

4.3 Anschließen der Batterie Verbinden Sie die Batterie mit den + und - Ladeanschlüssen Ihrer POWER 26-104 Batte- rie, indem Sie die beigefügten Ringkabelschuhe verwenden. • Beim Anschließen der Batterie kann es zu leichter Funkenbildung kommen. • Sämtliche Lasten direkt an die Batterie anschließen. Der Regler bietet keinen Schutz vor übermäßigem Entladen, jedoch schaltet die Power 26-104 die Anschlüsse ab, wenn sie unter 21 V entladen wird. -

5. Betrieb Der Regler kann ständig an die POWER-Batterie angeschlossen bleiben, jedoch sollten Sie sicherstellen, dass die POWER-Batterie ausgeschaltet wird, wenn sie über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht verwendet wird, um Tiefentladung vorzubeugen. Der Regler lädt die Batterie immer dann auf, wenn ausreichend Sonnenlicht vorhanden und die Batterie eingeschaltet ist. -

6. Fehlerbehebung Leuchtet die LED bei angeschlossener Batterie nicht auf oder lädt der Regler nicht, könnte die interne Sicherung defekt sein. Die häufigsten Gründe für defekte Sicherungen sind: • Regler falsch an die Batterie angeschlossen • Kurzschluss des Solarmodul-Eingangs, während der Ladevorgang des Reglers läuft. In diesem Fall kann eine weitere interne Beschädigung des Reglers vorliegen. Für Hinweise zum Austausch der Sicherung siehe Kapitel 7.1. -

7.2 Pflege Zur Reinigung des Geräts können Sie handelsübliche, für Kunststoffe geeignete Reini- gungsmittel verwenden. 8. Außerbetriebnahme / Entsorgung Alle Torqeedo-Produkte entsprechen den Bestimmungen der Richtlinie 2002/96/EG. Diese Richtlinie regelt die Entsorgung elektrischer und elektronischer Geräte zum nachhaltigen Schutz der Umwelt. Abhängig von lokalen Vorschriften können Sie Ihre Batterie zur ordnungsgemäßen Entsorgung an einer kommunalen Sammelstelle abgeben. -

Torqeedo ist zur Ablehnung von Garantieansprüchen berechtigt, wenn • der Garantieanspruch nicht ordnungsgemäß angemeldet wurde (insbesondere: Kon- taktaufnahme mit Torqeedo vor der Rücksendung der betroffenen Ware, Fehlen einer vollständig ausgefüllten Garantiescheins bzw. Kaufbelegs; siehe Kapitel „Garantieabwick- lung“), • das Produkt nicht entsprechend den Angaben in der Bedienungsanleitung behandelt wurde, • Hinweise bezüglich Sicherheit, Handhabung und Pflege in der Bedienungsanleitung nicht beachten wurden, • Der Kaufgegenstand in irgendeiner Art und Weise verändert, umgebaut oder mit Teilen und/oder Zubehör ausgestattet wurde, die nicht ausdrücklich zur von Torqeedo zugelasse- nen oder empfohlenen Ausrüstung gehören, • vorherige Wartungs- oder Reparaturarbeiten nicht von einem von Torqeedo zugelassenen Unternehmen durchgeführt bzw. -

1. Important safety and operating instructions This manual contains important instructions for the solar charge controller for Power 26- 104 that shall be followed during installation and maintenance. Carefully follow these instructions. ONLY USE WITH POWER 26-104 BATTERY. Make sure that the Power Battery is switched on to enable charging. 3. Scope of supply The full scope of supply of the solar charger controller comprises the following parts: • Charge controller • Spare fuse • Operating manual 4. Installation & system connections 4.1 Mounting Mount the controller near your battery securely using the holes provided on the enclosure’s flanges or with a means appropriate to the application. - Page 25 Caution! Danger of short circuit - only one charger may be connected to a solar module at any one time. Please note for the solar panel connectors: • Not plugged connectors are to be protected against humidity and dirt. • To plug into solar module: Put the cable-coupling together until it clicks into place (1). Correct engaging check by drawing the cable-coupling. • To separate the contacts press the brackets together manually (2) and separate the cable-coupling (3).

4.3 connecting the battery Connect the battery to the + and - charger terminals of your POWER 26-104 battery using the attached ring terminals. • A small spark while connecting the battery is ok. • Any loads should be connected directly to the battery. The controller does not provide protection against over-discharge, but the Power 26-104 will switch off terminals if discharged below 21 V. -

5. Operation The controller can stay connected to the POWER battery all the time, however make sure you switch off the POWER battery during extensive periods of non-use in order to pre- vent deep discharging. The controller will charge the battery whenever there is enough sunlight and the battery is switched on. -

6. Troubleshooting If the LED indicator does not light with a battery connected or the controller does not charge, the internal fuse may be blown. The most common causes of blown fuses are: • Connecting the controller to the battery backwards • Shorting the solar panel input while the controller is charging. In this case, there may be other internal damage to the controller. For instructions how to change the fuse see chapter 7.1. -

7.2 care To clean the device you may use any usual customary cleaning agents suitable for syn- thetics. 8. Decommisioning / Disposal All Torqeedo products comply with the provisions of Directive 2002/96/EC. This directive rules dismissal of electric and electronic equipment to sustainably protect the environment. -

Warranty covers neither wear parts nor routine maintenance. Torqeedo is entitled to refuse warranty claims if • warranty has not duly been submitted (in particular: contacting Torqeedo before sen- ding back claimed goods, lack of completely filled-in warranty certificate and proof of purchase; refer to chapter „Warranty process“), • the product has not been treated in accordance with the instructions, • safety, handling and care instructions of the operating manual have been disregarded, • the object of purchase has been anyhow altered or modified or equipped with parts and/ or accessories which are not expressly included in the equipment approved or recom- mended by Torqeedo, • previous maintenance or repair works have not been carried out by companies approved by Torqeedo or other than original spare parts have been used - unless end user is able to... -
