INITIAL SET UP

1. To start you will need an installed motorised
blind, remote control and push pin/paper clip/
pen. For installation, please follow Powershade
Assembly Instructions.
2. Make sure when fitting the blind into the
brackets that the motor with RED
& charge port are facing downwards
(towards you).
3. Reset the motor by pressing and holding the
RED
button in the headrail for approx
8 SECONDS until the motor JOGS TWICE.

LINK REMOTE TO MOTOR

To link the remote control to the motor, first press and hold the RED
the motor JOGS ONCE.
5. If using a multi-channel remote control, select the desired channel. Use the buttons
to select channel. If not using multi-channel remote, continue to step 6.
6. Press "C" on the back of remote control until the motor JOGS ONCE. The remote control
is now linked and ready to be set.

CHANGING MOTOR DIRECTION

7. Check whether the motor is turning in the correct direction. To do this, press the button
on the remote control. If the blind moves down, the motor direction does not need to be
adjusted. If pressing the button raises the blind, you need to adjust the motor direction.
8. To change the motor direction: press and hold both "L" and button (TIP: Press "L" button
on the back of the remote first). The motor will JOG ONCE to confirm change. Check the blind
is now moving in the correct direction for the arrows. If not, please repeat step 8.

SET BLIND LOWER LEVEL

9. Press and hold "L" on the back of the remote control until the motor JOGS THREE TIMES.
The motor is now in LEVEL SETTING MODE.
10. Press the button on the remote control. The blind will begin to lower.
11. When the blind is nearing the preferred lower level, press the button on the remote control.
12. Press buttons to accurately position the lower level.
13. When the blind has reached the correct position, press "C" on the back of remote control.
14. The motor will JOG ONCE to confirm level position is set. This concludes the lower level
setting but the motor is still in LEVEL SETTING MODE.

When the blind is nearing the preferred upper level press the button on the remote control. 17. Press the buttons to accurately position the upper level. 18. When the blind has reached the correct position, press “C” on the back of the remote control. 19. The motor will JOG ONCE to confirm level position is set. This concludes the upper level setting. The motor has now exited LEVEL SETTING MODE. SET MID LEVEL 20. To set a mid level, run the blind to the desired position using the buttons on the remote control. 21. Press and hold both “L” and until the motor JOGS ONCE (TIP: Press “L” button on the back of the remote first). The mid level position is now set. 22. When the blind is in the upper or lower level positions only, press the button for the blind to cycle to the mid level position. GROUPING 23. Program each blind as per standard programming instructions (steps 1-22). Select which blinds are to be grouped. (We recommend grouping a maximum of 5 blinds per channel).
