• Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) must be obtained on all chemicals and placed in a shop file for reference. Note: MSDS can be found on the RTI web site www.rtitech.com. CAUTION DO NOT allow the solvent to come in contact with any painted surfaces. In case of contact, immediately clean the surface with soap and water. -

Adapter Instructions Straight Adapter 1. Choose the appropriate size main bracket for the fitting on the vehicle. 2. Screw straight fitting (3) into selected bracket (4). 3. Select the proper neoprene seal (2) and place on fitting (3). Note: There are various size seals to cover all vehicle applications. -

Flush Verify that both the RTI Spin-on Filter and the Coalescing Filter are installed. Turn the Control Valve to OFF. Remove the solvent filling cap and pour one gallon (3.6 liters) of RTI Flush Solvent into the ACF internal tank. Replace the solvent filling cap ACF 3000 when done. -

Purge Slowly turn the Control Valve toward the SLOWLY position and observe the ACF 3000 discharge hose. Proceed to the next step when all of the liquid has been removed CONTROL VALVE SELECTOR VALVE from the hose . PURGE PURGE Slowly turn the Control Valve towards PURGE. -

RTI Spin-on Filter Replacement NOTE: The RTI Spin-on Filter should be replaced after each flushing procedure. This filter must be replaced with an RTI brand Spin-on filter. Locate the Spin-on Filter on the rear of the ACF. Turn the filter counterclockwise and remove it. -
Page 10: Charcoal Air Filter Replacement
Charcoal Air Filter Replacement The charcoal air filter element, located on the rear of the unit, should be replaced after every 25 flush and purge services. It may be necessary to replace the element sooner if the operator notices a stronger than usual odor emitted from the unit during the purge process. Turn the wing nut on the filter counterclockwise and remove the retaining plate. -
