Flexible-priority AE (Fv)

In this mode, you can set shutter speed, aperture, and ISO speed manually
or automatically and combine these settings with your choice of exposure
compensation. Shooting in < t > mode, with control over each of these
parameters, is equivalent to shooting in < d >, < s >, < f >, or < a >
mode.
* < t > stands for Flexible value.

Set the Mode dial to <t>.

Set the shutter speed, aperture,
and ISO speed.
Turn the <5> dial to select an item to
z
set. A [6] icon appears to the left of
the selected item.
Turn the <6> dial to set the option.
z
To reset the setting to [AUTO], press the
z
< X > key.

Set the amount of exposure
compensation.
Turn the <5> dial and select the
z
exposure level indicator. A [6] icon
appears to the left of the exposure level
indicator.
Turn the <6> dial to set the option.
z
To reset the setting to [±0], press the
z
< X > key.
