For easy control of the DMP1616, you will need to connect the device to a network-enabled Windows computer. HOW TO SET THE SYSTEM IP ADDRESS Connecting the DMP1616 to a computer for remote operation requires the user to enter an IP address for the unit. Example: To set an IP address of “192.168.0.21” on your DMP1616, the rotary control should be set to 5 and the DIP switches 3 and 4 should be set to ON and OFF, respectively. This sets a hexadecimal value of 15, which - converted to decimal - is 21.
After a connection is established, you can use the control software to remotely control and change the settings of your DMP1616. To begin, please visit the Asystems website to download the control software program. The program will be downloaded to a zipped folder. Please unzip the folder then follow the instructions to proceed the installation.
