New recorded messages will override previous messages. The LOCK switch on the rear of the Talking Tin is redundant with the Yellow Tin (only usable on Red Tins 20362). It is not possible to protect a message from being accidentally recorded over. -

There is NOT a volume control. The magnets in the product allow the Talking Tin to be attached to a can or tin. This can be a practical aid for verbally ‘labelling’ the contents of tins for the visually impaired. -
