INTRODUCTION
Ratchet type axle stands, all steel construction with additional pin and chain load support. Quick start feature operated by pulling the lever once with
the crutch rising automatically to meet the axle or chassis of the vehicle. Full width V-crutch for safe support of load. Manufactured to rigorous safety
standards. Sold in pairs.

N.B. In order to obtain the capacities shown, the vehicle must
be evenly supported by the two stands.

4. ASSEMBLY
Note: Figures 1,2 and 3 are for representational purposes only.
4.1.
Insert centre column into base frame, see fig.1.
4.2.
Ensure the toothed side of the column engages with the locking lever
mechanism.
4.3.
Bend in the locking tab using a drift or similar and a hammer, see fig.1.
5. OPERATION
5.1.
Refer to manufactures instructions for recommended jacking/support points.
check to ensure jacking/support points are in good condition.
5.2.
Position the stands beneath their support points.
5.3.
To adjust the stands: Hold the control lever up and the gas strut will raise the
centre column to the required height. Push the control lever down to lock the
pawl into the central column teeth (fig.2 and fig.3).
WARNING! ENSURE PAWL IS FULLY ENGAGED WITH TEETH.
5.4.
Carefully and slowly lower vehicle onto stands. Ensure load bearing points sit in
the centre of the saddles and that the stands are stable. Also ensure that there
are no objects or persons that could impede the safe lowering of the vehicle
onto the stands.
DANGER! You must follow THESE instructions carefully and ensure you
DO NOT load the stands off centre. Failure to adhere to these warnings may
cause damage, injury or loss of life!
5.5.
Insert the locking pin to store the stands in their lowest position.
