BEACH WAGON COMPANY RAM4-1 MAINTENANCE and REPAIR
Regular maintenance extends life span of the Beach Wagon and reduces the chance of problems. Please have all minor repairs and maintenance done by a good bicycle shop or experienced bicycle repairer, and contact your dealer with any other problems or for parts needing to be repaired. Or contact us at www.beachwagon.company. The high-quality materials used to make the Beach Wagon guarantee its long life span. When assembling the frame in the factory, no extra protecBon is applied to the parts. Premature damage to metal parts is prevented by cleaning the Beach Wagon regularly and treaBng all parts with acid-free vaseline or other protecBve substances. Extra maintenance is necessary when the Beach Wagon comes into contact with sand or salt. Salt should be rinsed off with clean water, and the parts coated with a protecBve layer in order to prevent damage to the steel parts. Take the wheels off and clean the axles with water. AFer cleaning make all parts dry. Please remember that if the Beach Wagon comes into contact with salt, this could penetrate into the metal tubes. To prevent excessive corrosion, tubes must be checked for damage and treated with a protecBve layer. The covers are made of polyester and can be washed in the washing machine at a low temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. The polyester covers can be removed by opening the zippers and velcro for inspecBon and maintenance. Check before every use of the wagon. 1. Check if all nuts and bolts are fastened securely. If necessary Bghten or loosen them. 2. Treat all moving parts with vaseline or Teflon spray. 3. Check the cover and all other texBle parts for damaged seams and/or zips. 4. Check the frame for damage and/or breaks. 5. Check all parts for damage/corrosion. If necessary clean the parts, and coat them with a protecBve layer. 6. Check the wheel bearings for corrosion. If necessary, remove the bearings from the wheel rim, clean them and apply a layer of vaseline.
