The instructions provided here are directed at qualifi ed professionals only. The supplied materials must be used for the installation. Prior to installing and operat- ing the solar panel system, familiarise yourself with the locally applicable standards and regulations. - Page 7 Use a torque wrench to tighten the connection and do not exceed a torque of 40 Nm. Only use pipes and fi ttings that are suitable for sanitary facilities and that can withstand temperatures of at least 100 °C. Collector Circuit Pipe Insulation The pipes must be insulated with a suitable UV resistant material of the appropriate thickness in order to reduce heat loss and protect the pipes from freezing.

If the temperature falls below 0 °C for 18 consecutive hours or -5 °C for 6 consecutive hours, the system must be drained and covered over.
