Presidential Billiards FORD Installation Instructions

Tools required by the installer:

3/8" Drive ratchet and Extension
1/2" and 9/16" Sockets for above
1/2" and 9/16" Combo end wrench
# 2 and # 3 Phillips screwdriver
Electric drill/ driver
Prior to installation of the table please check for damaged or missing parts. Call Presidential Billiards at 866-
728-2253 if there is a problem. The hardware is packed in several different packets. Each packet represents a
step number. This coincides with the steps in this installation instruction and will hopefully reduce your time to
verify what hardware is required and where. It is suggested that you retain the bolts in their respective packets
for ease of installation.
STEP 1 LEG ASSEMBLY
1.1 Place leg assemblies in the location selected for the table.
1.2 Attach leg bars to legs using nut in bar box. Tighten using crescent wrench.
1.3 Build picture frame beam assembly on a level surface. Attach slate beams and end beams to long beam
using 3/8" x 5" bolt, barrel nut and washer. Attach leg beam using 5/16" x 3 1/2" bolt and washer.
Repeat for other long beam. Attach top stretcher to beams using 5/16" x 1 3/4" bolt and washer. Square
and tighten all bolts on frame.
1.4 Place picture frame assembly on legs. Attach to leg beams using 3/8 x 5" bolt, washers and nut. If frame
assembly will not fit over legs, loose one side of assembly until it falls over legs. Recheck square.
Attach wings using 5/16" x 3 1/2" bolts and washers for the long beams.

STEP 2 INSTALL THE SLATE
2.1 Level the table to the floor. Place the three pieces of slate on the four crossbeams.
Ensure that the slate is square to the frame. Secure the slate to the cross beams. (Pre-drill with 3/16" drill

2.3 Finalize the slate leveling process using flat shims and/or wedges. Fill the seams and screw holes and
install the bed cloth.
