- Page 4 INTRODUCTION These instructions are published for the use of personnel to whom the marine electrical range unit series is issued. Each unit will have his own copy in English language, if requested and at extra cost, handbooks can be supplied in different languages. GENERAL WARNINGS Please read very carefully the content of this book because is giving very important indications for the safety installation, use and maintenance of unit.
- Page 7 INSTALLATION The bolts of antirolling support bars fix also the top to the structure. When the support bars are remove, the top will be fix with bolts M8x15 Installation must be done according to manufacturer instructions and by qualified personnel. The unit must be used by trained staff only.
- Page 8 FUNCTIONING RULES Hot plate connection is obtained by operating the change over delta-star switches located in the switch board panel (drawing pag. 4and 5). Each connected plate is signalled by a (red) pilot-lamp, located in the switch board panel. Plates heating adjustment is obtained by operating the delta-star switches located in the switch board panel.
- Page 9 ELECTRIC MARINE RANGE MAINTENANCE Disconnect power and make sure no one can connect power during maintenance or repair time. To avoid any problem make sure that all the different connections and heating elements will have wellfastened junction blocks. An accurate tightening of electric wires in the junction blocks is essential for a good and durable machine functioning.

- Page 24 USEFUL ADVICES FOR STAINLESS STEEL CARE - Stainless steel is called such because its corrosion resistance is due to a thin coat of protective oxide formed on its surface by the exposition to the air of the steel sheet. - Stainless steel is easy to clean and maintain. However, stainless does not mean non staining. Rather, it means that it will stain less.
- Page 25 - Rust stains caused by inappropriate care and bad maintenance. Use correct products, enquire detergents manufactures ( Ex. Soilax - Diversey - Henkel - Level - Oakite - Benckiser, etc.). Rely upon recommendations of your fabricator. A good agent that has given satisfactory result for eliminating rust stains is the Oakite 31/A, after its use rinse plentifully with water.
