    pictor® N Operation 6.1 Connecting Ethernet Cable The following steps must be carried out in an electrically dead state. 1. Insert the 6-pin Hirose socket of the Ethernet cable into the LAN plug on the device. 2. Connect the RJ45 plug to a free Ethernet interface on the host computer or the network.

IP configuration in the as-supplied state During the start, the device searches for a DHCP server in the LAN. If no DHCP server is available in the LAN, Ethernet interface is automatically configured with the fixed IP address.
