    • Any valid MODBUS address between 1 and 247 can be selected using the on-board DIP switches. The switches are 2 binary coded. Address on each ProSMS 8 is factory preset to Nr. 5. • Address can be changed during operation, no restart or power cycle is required.

    The ProSMS has a built in surge counter which is capable of detecting and counting direct and indirect surges to the panels, string cables or cabling to the central inverter. CAUTION The Surge counter has been optimized to work best with the Raycap PV ProTEC NOTICE surge protection series of SPDs.
