  • Page 8 USE OF THE INFRA-RED CONTROLLER Connect the micro USB cable to the port of the SPC HORUS device. Connect the USB cable to any adaptor (e.g. mobile device) and plug it in as usual. DOWNLOAD THE SPC IOT APP FROM APPLE STORE...
  • Page 9 SET UP AN ACCOUNT The first time you open the SPC IoT app, you will have to create an account.
  • Page 10 Enter your geographical region and telephone number or email account. You will receive a security code by SMS or email (depending on the data you provided). Enter it in the corresponding space. Enter a password with between 6 and 20 characters, including numbers and letters.

    ADD A DEVICE Choose the type of product you want to add, which in this case is a “Infra-red controller”.
  • Page 13 SYNCHRONIZE YOUR DEVICE WITH THE SPC IOT APP Disconnect and reconnect your device for the universal controller to start its search mode. The universal controller will start to flash a rapid red light (2 times per second). If the device does not start in search mode, press the reset button for 5 seconds.
  • Page 14 Enter the Wi-Fi password for your home or select the network if you are not connected. You will see a time with a percentage, and in a few seconds your universal controller will have been correctly added. If you cannot synchronize your universal controller, repeat the process again.

Press next again and you will see how the universal controller is ready to receive the signal to clone. Press the button on the original controller to be cloned until the application indicates that it has detected the signal.
  • Page 21 Finally add a name to the cloned button to distinguish it from the others. Perform this action as many times as buttons you want to clone, pressing the “Continue” button. Once you have finished, press the “Save” button to end the cloning.
