To install the trimmer wire on a Cub Cadet CC924:

1. Align the shaft bushing hole with the locking rod slot in the protective cover and the notch in the gear case.
2. Insert the locking rod into the aligned holes and hold it to keep the output shaft in place.
3. Ensure the threads of the trimmer head and the center of the output shaft are aligned.
4. Rotate the trimmer head clockwise (as observed by the operator) until it is securely attached.
