MACHINES AND ACCESSORIES 11.The double attachment tube (G) can now be inserted into the hole of the vacuum (Figure 16). Figure 16 - Mounting the attachment tube The machine is now fully assembly. For operation the vacuum has to be moved next to the woodworking machine to which it will be connected.
MACHINES AND ACCESSORIES 5.2 Suction tube assembly The chip vacuum is connected, via a suction tube (of suitable diameter), to one or two woodworking machines or other machinery that discharges sawdust and/or wood chips that must be collected. If it is connected to only one machine, attach the end of the chips exhaust tube to a vacuum inlet (ref.
MACHINES AND ACCESSORIES 6 CONTROL SWITCHES The switches are located on the body of the vacuum, under the emergency button cap which can be opened. They are used to turn the chip collection vacuum on and off. 6.1 On switch (start) The green button (I), is used for starting (turning on) the chip vacuum (Figure 19).
MACHINES AND ACCESSORIES 7 OPERATION The chip vacuum is a very easy machine to use. After connecting the power plug and the chip suction tube(s), the machine is ready for use. First turn on the chip vacuum, by pressing the green button (Figure 19) and then the woodworking machine.
MACHINES AND ACCESSORIES 8 MACHINE SAFETY DEVICES 8.1 Electrical safety devices The control device connected to the electrical circuit of the chip vacuum is a magnetic switch with two buttons. This prevents the danger of unwanted and/or accidental starts of the machine, since the switch can only be activated through a voluntary action suitable for the given purpose and when the machine is powered.
MACHINES AND ACCESSORIES 8.2 "Mechanical" Safety Devices 8.2.1 Protective casing This has the function of preventing the wood chips vacuumed from being thrown towards the operator's face, and channelling them into the collection bag. Checking the safety devices Each time you use the chip vacuum check that the machine has been assembled and operates perfectly, as well as the positioning of the safety devices.
