HOW-TO-GUIDE: MOUNTING THE FD7903 CAMERA
SUMMARY:
Mounting instructions for the FD7903 to different surfaces and locations. Type of screws
may differentiate depending on the surface the camera is being mounted on. The size of
the screws that are used in this installation guide will be ¼-20 is provided in the camera
box.
PREREQUISTES:
 Power Drill
NOTE: Prior to installation, please ensure that the installation environment can support at least
three times the weight of the camera.
1.
Place the camera onto the drilling surface where the camera will be mounted on.
2.
Next, make four marks on the drilling surface approximately 3x3 inches apart.
3.
Holes will be drilled in place of the markings to make way for the screws.
4.
Before placing the base of the camera to the wall, the power cable of the camera must
be threaded through the direction in which the cable is being ran. The cable can be run
either through the top flush mount or side flush mounts at the base of the camera. This
will leave space for the power cable to run to where it will be plugged in.

  • Page 3 Testing for sturdiness is recommended to make sure the camera is correctly screwed in and mounted. To do this, simply attempt to slide the camera's base in any direction.
