    ELPIS-4 / 3 / 2 User Guide • Installed equipment shall be subject to regular safety inspections from specialized personnel authorized by the manufacturer. • For electrical safety, equipment shall always be connected to a safely grounded power supply for operation.

    ELPIS-4 / 3 / 2 User Guide Electrosurgical Unit 2.1 Mechanism [Figure 01] Monopolar electrosurgical An electrosurgical unit is a medical device that is used to reduce bleeding in a portion of the body tissue and to dissect or stop the bleeding from the bleeding site. The device consists of three components: main body, electrode, and patient plate.
