7. START UP
ATTACHING A COIL

Loosen the screws and make a coil. The ends of
the coil should point in opposite directions.

The screws fix the wire, keeping the coil in place.
!
WARNING
Use an ohm meter to check the resistance of the coil/device before using it. Don't use the device, if a short circuit is de-
tected. This could lead to battery damage. Check if there is a contact between the coil ends and surrounding parts.
IMPORTANT
Depending on which air hole has been selected, or from which air hole in the deck the air flow strikes the coil, it may be
necessary to align the coil accordingly to the air flow. The examples shown here describe a standard coil. Depending on
the type and position of the coil, the selected air flow and the pulling behavior, the steam experience can be individually
optimized.

Place the coil between the poles, insert the wire
under the attachment points and tighten the screws again.
The wire ends are now cut off.
The coil should now glow uniformly during firing.
