Troubleshooting
Message
Cannot save more than 30 Preset
stations.
Do not disconnect.
Firmware update failed.
LOW BATTERY. Please Charge.
Not enough free space in
memory. Delete files to ensure
free space.
On hold...
Cancel HOLD function to activate
controls.
Preset already exists.
The device's memory was not
formatted correctly. Please re-
format using Settings menu.
Meaning
30 broadcast stations are
already preset.
The player is connected to
a computer or other
external devices to
transfer data.
Updating the firmware
failed to complete.
The player's battery is
running low.
The player's available
capacity is insufficient.
The player cannot be
operated because the
HOLD switch is set to the
HOLD position.
You are trying to preset a
frequency that is already
preset.
 The built-in flash
memory was not
formatted properly.
 The built-in flash
memory was formatted
on a computer.
Remedy
Delete unnecessary stations
first (  page 69), then
preset the stations you want
within the limit number.
This is not an error
message. Do not disconnect
the USB cable until
transferring completes.
Follow the instructions
displayed on your
computer to retry
updating the firmware.
Charge the battery ( 
page 23).
Connect the player to
your computer using the
supplied USB cable, and
then delete any
unnecessary data from the
player using another
software used for
transferring, or Windows
Explorer.
To operate the player, slide
the HOLD switch to the
opposite position ( 
page 12).
Preset other frequencies.
Select "Settings"-
"Common Settings"-
"Format" to format the
built-in flash memory
again (  page 83).
