2. Test the water sensor: Touch the water sensor with a wet sponge or paper towel. Hold the wet sponge or paper towel to the water sensor for five seconds. This should close the valve that the ValveSentry is attached to. It will take roughly three to five seconds to respond. Use the open button on the Controller to open the valve again.
