Organize Your Music Files - Sony VGX-XL2 User Guide (Computer Component) User Manual

With Media Center, it is easy to store and organize music files that you have added
from your favorite CD's or have downloaded from the Internet.
For you to listen to music in Media
Center, the files must be stored in a
location that Media Center looks in.
First, add and organize the music files
into the My Music or
folders.
In the My Music folder, you can create
new folders or copy in other folders to
better organize your files.
If you are connected to a home
network and wish to share your music
files with others, copy the files to the
Shared Music folder.
O r g a n i z e Y o u r M u s i c F i l e s
Shared Music
If a music file is downloaded or stored
in a folder other than
Shared Music, you can add that
folder(s) to the folder list that Media
Center looks in.
From your
remote control,
press the MORE
INFO button, or
right click using
your mouse
anywhere in My Music
menu. Select Add Music

Note: CDs stored in the
not displayed in My Music.
