Instructions for inflation :
Do you know how to inflate your car tires? Then you know how to inflate EAZYDIVE!
Connect the compressor clamps to the battery terminals. If your battery is normally charged, you do not need to
start the engine.
Screw the hose onto the tire type valve at the top of the bottle.
Push on the handle and insert the pin (lower handle position: valve open).
Start the compressor (switch on).
Check the manometer (pressure gauge) during inflation.
At the indicated pressure, 10 bars, stop it. Be careful not to leave it in operation once this pressure is reached, it
will not rise any higher, but may heat up and degrade.
If you exceed the recommended pressure, the compressor may be damaged.
Remove the pin (handle in the upper position: valve closed)
Vent the regulator
Unscrew the hose from the valve. It is normal that there is a slight leak before the valve shell is completely closed.
The inflation times are indicative, they depend on the battery charge.
Wait at least 10 minutes (160 l/min) for allowing the compressor to cool down before the next inflation.
How many times can EAZYDIVE be inflated with the compressor on a boat's batteries without starting the engine ?
The 160 l/min compressor will consume an average of 25 Amperes during 3 minutes or about 1.3 Ah.
Most medium-sized boat batteries have a capacity of 40 to 110 Ah.
We could perform a dozen or so re-inflations without worries, while keeping more than two third potential of the battery,
but everything depends on the other consumptions on board and the state of your battery.
Caution: The primary role of the battery is to start the engine and power the on-board circuits.
If you have two 12 V batteries in parallel, common case on boats, it would be good to:
Isolate one of them,
Make the EAZYDIVE refills on one of the two, the second remaining in reserve,
Reconnect both batteries after recharging.
Maintenance :
The compressors require no maintenance. Store them in their bag, avoid shocks and sea water.
