Precautions
Do not open or modify the splitter. Changing the unit may damage it or cause it to be dangerous.

Do not put objects inside the unit. Make sure that no metal objects or flammable substances get
•
inside the splitter. It could cause a fire, a short-circuit and other damage.

Be careful when handling the unit. To prevent damage, do not drop the splitter or submit it to a strong
•
shock or vibration.
Install the splitter away from electric and magnetic fields.
•
Protect the splitter from humidity and dust.
•
Protect the splitter from high temperature. Be careful when installing the splitter close to a ceiling, in
•
a kitchen or a boiler room. The internal temperature may increase to a high level.
Usage
1.
Attach the video input and video output coaxial cables to the appropriate connectors (see the
illustration above). Anchor the input and output cables to the surface as needed.
2.
Connect 12 Vdc 1 A regulated power adapter to the 12 Vdc input connector, then plug the power
adapter into a standard 120 Vac electrical outlet. Verify that the power input LED (POWER) is lit red.
3.
Apply a video signal to the Video input coax cable. Verify that the Video in LED (PRESENCE) is lit.
