IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Safety Instructions - Rack Mount A. Elevated Operating Ambient - If installed in a closed or multi-unit rack assembly, the operating ambient temperature of the rack environment may be greater than room ambient. Head With Washer (x4 for Single, Wood Screw (x4 for Single, x8 for Dual Work Light) x8 for Dual Work Light) 10-32 Oval Nut (x4 for Single, Connector Cable x8 for Dual Work Light) (9’, Dual Work Light Only) - Page 6 ADJUSTING THE LIGHT WIDTH 1. Loosen the hex screws on the ends of the light to adjust the telescoping brackets to the desired width. NOTE: The light is preconfigured for a 19” EIA rackmount. 2. INSTALLATION Install your light into any of the following positions as applicable to your enclosure: NOTE: You can mix and match light positions with the Dual Work Light based on the length of the 9’ connector cable running between the lights. Installing Horizontally on Rackrails 1. - Page 8 INSTALLATION (CONTINUED) Installing Inside Wooden Enclosures (RK/BRK) 1. Pass (4) Phil. head wood screws through the flanges of the light brackets and into the inside of the wooden enclosure as shown. (FIGURE E) NOTE: • Carefully measure and drill pilot holes for precise installation. Be careful not to drill piliot holes through wooden enclosure panels.
- Page 9 WIRING SINGLE AND DUAL WORK LIGHTS NOTE: The procedures for wiring the Single and Dual Work Lights show the United States power supply connector. The procedure is the same for EU, BS, and SAA power requirements until plugging into AC power. For more information, see “Power Supply Kit”...
- Page 10 PIVOTING THE WORK LIGHT 1. Firmly grasp both ends of the light to position as desired on the axis shown.
