Mounting and commissioning Mounting and commissioning Verify that ProCalida GT 3 is not subjected to direct sunlight at the installation site. Only mount clean components. Clean polluted components with a moist piece of cloth. Make sure the sealing surfaces are clean.
Mounting and commissioning Pre-assembling the brine/heating circuit manifold Mounting segments Take into account the position of the wall brackets when mount- ing the segments (see chapter 4, page 11). Grease the O rings. Insert connection element into segments. Mount the fasteners. Hand-screw the nuts. Mounting optional connection elements 30 mm/60 mm Optional connection elements 30 mm/60 mm increase the distance between two segments by 30 mm/60 mm.

Mounting and commissioning Mounting a blind cover to the end segment Grease the O ring. Insert the blind cover into the segment. Mount the fasteners. Hand-screw the nuts. Mounting connection segments and end segments to middle segments Grease the O rings. Put the segment blocks together.
Mounting and commissioning Mounting wall brackets to the brine/heating circuit manifold Mount the fasteners. Hand-screw the nuts. Mounting the brine/heating circuit manifold with wall brack- ets to the wall CAUTION Hazard of crushing caused by falling brine/heating circuit mani- fold.
Mounting and commissioning Drill Ø 10 mm holes. Mount the brine/heating circuit manifold to the wall using suita- ble fixing material. Mounting the brine/heating circuit connection Turn the segments, if necessary. ProCalida® GT 3...

Mounting and commissioning Mounting pipes Dismount the nut and the compression fitting from the heating circuit connection and place them onto the pipe. Connect the pipe and the heating circuit connection and tighten the nut with a tightening torque of 100 Nm (±20 Nm). Tighten the nuts at the fasteners with a tightening torque of 5 Nm.
Mounting and commissioning Filling, flushing and venting the system Always flush the system in the direction from return to flow to avoid pulsed shocks from acting on the floats in the flow meters. Remove the protective covers from the segments. Connect hoses to the boiler filling and drain valve KFE of the flow and to the boiler filling and drain valve KFE of the return.
Mounting and commissioning Repeat the procedure (filling and flushing, step 3.-5.) for all oth- er heating circuits. Vent Drain the system at the boiler filling and drain valve KFE of the flow, if required. Performing the pressure test and the function test Apply 6 bar of pressure to the system for a period of 2 hours (max.
Mounting and commissioning Adjusting the control valves With flow meter Fully open the flow valve (V1). Open the return valve (R1) until the calculated flow rate (W) is indicated at the flow meter (D). Pull the ring to the front to unlock. Turn the ring all the way to the mechanical stop of the flow valve.
Page 27
Mounting and commissioning Without flow meter Fully close the flow valve (V1). Fully close the normally open contact (R1). Take the adjustment valve from fig. 10, page 13. Pull the ring to the front to unlock. Set the adjustment value (E) at the ring. Push the ring back to lock.
