Please do not use your MTD-3500 wireless telephone if you may be distracted from another activity (such as driving a motor vehicle or walking across the street) and create a safety hazard to yourself and others. To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirement, use only belt-clips, holsters or similar accessories that maintain a 1.5 cm separation distance between the user’s body and the back of the phone, including the antenna whether extended or retracted. The scroll keys have up and down arrows on them, press these to move through the phone’s menus. 4.3 About display indicators and icons The display indicators and icons inform about the operation of the phone. 4.3.1 Start screen The start screen displays when the phone is turned on. - Page 24 shows the signal strength of the wireless network at your current location. The higher the bar, the stronger the signal. Battery power indicator: This indicator shows the battery charge level. The higher the bar, the more power in the battery. Handset volume indicator: This indicator appears only when you press the scroll keys in the Profiles menu.
