Connecting Digital Sources Two of the 5 selectable sources are digital, offering the highest level of audio resolution on the DSP8.8. TOSLINK IN: (S/PDIF) connector accepts a 2-channel digital audio signal from any device’s optical output via S/PDIF connector, with a sampling rate of 24bit/96kHz.

The next window allows the setup wizard confirm installation of the DSP8.8 program by clicking the “Install” tab. When actively connected to the DSP8.8, the Phoenix icon will continuously blink while data is being streamed between the smart device and the DSP8.8. This can also be seen on the DRC as the LED for button #1 (see image 4). The DSP8.8 is now ready for system configuration to begin.
