The TRAMEX RWS has two modes of operation:
1. EIFS Mode (Exterior Insulation and Finish System)
- Use this mode for scanning moisture in EIFS materials.
- To activate: Select the MODE switch until the Yellow LED lights up.
2. Roof Mode
- Use this mode for scanning moisture in roofing systems.
- To activate: Select the MODE switch until the Red LED lights up.
Each mode has two sensitivity ranges:
- Low Range (Yellow LED on RANGE switch)
- Suitable for smooth or mineral-surfaced roofs.
- High Range (Red LED on RANGE switch)
- More sensitive; suitable for scanning through heavier membranes or dry gravel/ballast. If readings are not satisfactory through ballast, remove it and scan directly on the waterproofing surface.
To select a range, press the RANGE switch to toggle between Low and High Range.
