Installation is straight forward, but please follow directions carefully. The pins in the factory accelerator plug can easily be bent which can cause the vehicle to go into limp mode.

For most drivers, it can take a few days to get used to the iDRIVE, it’s different modes and what works best for them. We recommend starting on or around Ultimate Mode 4 (U4), this gives the driver plenty of throttle response to notice a substantial difference, without being too much to handle off the bat.

Hi, I purchased an idrive for my 2.8gd-6 A/T Hilux Legend 50 in 2021.(130Kw) I removed it when I upgraded to the 2023 Legend 2.8gd-6 A/T 4X4. (150Kw) Do I need the software to be updated now, and if so, how do I go about it.. Thanks for your advice and assistance. Kind regards. Mike.
